EVENTS IN BMM 2024-25 > Our new academic session with a Motivational talk before re-opening in the month of May for teachers by Fr Stephin Jacob [Assistant Professor and HOD of Social Work, St. Thomas College Konni, Assistant Vicar, St. George Maha Edavaka Konni ] and Mrs Minta Mariam Varghese [Research Scholar, Catholicate college Pathanamthitta] > The academic year 2023-24 started with a Career Guidance cum Motivational class by Mr. Sanju P Cherian > Environment Day was celebrated on 6th June with great zeal and zest by the Eco Club Members. > Investiture 2024 was conducted on June 16. School Student council members and House Captains were entrusted with duties. > PTA General Body Meeting was conducted on June 22nd for classes 1 to 7 for the election of PTA Executive Members. Mr. Sanju P Cherian (Motivational Speaker) > A seminar was organized in collaboration with Meenadom Primary Health Centre as a part of Nallapadom activities in the school on june 24th . Dr. K Manoj, Medical Officer conducted the classes and directed everyone to be extremely vigilant against dengue fever and rabies. > International anti drug day was observed on 26th June at BMM senior secondary school auditorium. An awareness class on drugs and its impact on students and society was conducted for the students of grade 7,8 and 9. > Merit Day Celebration was held on June 25th and was inaugurated by H.G.Dr. Yuhannon Mar Diascoros (Metropolitan, Kottayam Diocese & Manager BMM School). Mr. Praveen Kumar G (Civil Judge) Former student of BMM was the Chief Guest of the day. School toppers, subject toppers, students who secured A1 in all subjects, and those who scored 100 in subjects were honoured and given mementos and cash prizes. <Click To View Video: > Merit Day Pictures > Manorama and Satamonica “Read and Win Mega Quiz” was conducted on 4th July. Milan (12B), Sachu Zachariya(12A), Dakshina (12A) and Josia got 1st, 2nd and third prizes respectively. > UTSAV 2024, BMM Arts Fest was held on Aug 8th and 9th to showcase the talents and to encourage the competitive spirits within them. The fest was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Syga Thomas by the students of classes XI and XII on Sep 26. > Inter House Quiz competition was held on Sep 30. Class 8 students and their class teachers went to Devalokam to pay homage to Our Patron. > Publishing of 40 books on the occasion of 40th Anniversary of the school was conducted on Nov 11, 2024. The function was inaugurated by School Manager HG Dr Yuhanon Mar Diascoros, Metropolitan of Kottayam Diocese. Ms. Remya Binoy Chief sub editor, Malayala Manorama was the special invitee of the event. The fest was inaugurated by School Manager HG Dr Yuhanon Mar Diascoros, Metropolitan of Kottayam Diocese. The amount collected is maintained for charity purpose. Click To View > Childrens Day was celebrated on Nov 14. A rally was organised demonstrating the fruitfulness of little kids of KG section and of classes 1 and 2. Adv. Chandy Ommen MLA gave Childrens day message to kids. "Discussion with Political Leader" one among the 40 programme list was conducted in the Seminar Hall. Students of various classes got opportunity to talk with the MLA. P. Nair of class 6C has won 1 silver medal Edwin. G.
